Zhou Fan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Yale University. His research interests lie at the intersection of mathematical statistics, probability theory, and computational algorithms. He is particularly interested in inferential problems that arise in scientific applications, including statistical genetics and computational biology.
Qiyang Han is an Associate Professor of Statistics at Rutgers University. He completed his Ph.D. in 2018 from the University of Washington under the supervision of Professor Jon A. Wellner. His research focuses on the theoretical interface of statistics, algorithms, and probability, with major themes including empirical process theory, constrained nonparametric inference, mean-field high-dimensional statistics, and large random iterative algorithms.
Bruno Loureiro is a CNRS researcher in the DATA team at the Centre for Data Science, École Normale Supérieure in Paris. His research lies at the intersection of machine learning and statistical mechanics. He also serves as a Professeur Attaché at Université Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL), where he teaches in both undergraduate and graduate programs across its affiliated institutions.
Dirk Slock (Life Fellow, IEEE) is a Professor at EURECOM, where he has been since 1991. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1989. His research focuses on statistical signal processing for wireless communications and audio processing, with notable contributions including innovations adopted in 3G HSDPA and LTE standards. He was awarded the URSI France Medal in 2018 and became a Knight of the French "Ordre des Palmes Académiques" in 2023.
